Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a type of talk therapy that helps you explore your thoughts, emotions, and past experiences to understand how they shape your present behavior and relationships. It’s based on the idea that many of our feelings and struggles stem from unconscious patterns—things we may not even be fully aware of.

In therapy, we work together to uncover these patterns, often by looking at early life experiences, relationships, and recurring emotions. By bringing these deeper thoughts and feelings into awareness, you can gain insight, process unresolved emotions, and develop healthier ways of coping.

Unlike short-term, solution-focused therapies, psychodynamic therapy often takes a more in-depth and exploratory approach. The goal isn’t just to relieve symptoms but to create lasting change by understanding the root causes of emotional difficulties.

Energy Psychotherapy

Energy psychotherapy combines traditional talk therapy with energy-based techniques to help process emotional distress and trauma. It works on the idea that past experiences and emotions are stored in the body’s energy system, and by using methods like tapping (EFT), breathwork, or intention, it is possible to release emotional blocks, promote healing, and create lasting psychological change.

Fees

Initial consultation £75

I offer an initial consultation where we can discuss your therapeutic needs. It is also an opportunity for you to experience how I work and for me to assess if I am the best person to support you. There is no commitment at this stage. Please contact me to book an appointment.

Psychotherapy session £75

Sessions usually take place at the same time on the same day each time we meet. Sessions can be arranged weekly or fortnightly. We can discuss this at your initial consultation if you are not sure what frequency might suit you best.
